I’m happy to report I’ve been making some headway with them. I’m really upset that I’ve not been able to get them online more quickly, but that’s just how it’s worked out…. Distractions, distractions.
Anyway… I’ve not forgotten. Eventually, you’ll have something to LOOK at and not just stuff to READ. The big question of “When?” remains of course… but hopefully not for TOO much longer.
The Wordpress software that powers this website was updated today to the latest version, patching some (apparently rather minor) security issues in the previous version. Hopefully there were no interruptions to anyone’s browsing of the site. If you find anything that’s acting goofy (though you shouldn’t), please let us know.
…so it’s no longer always the topmost posting on the site…. So we can now get back on track with regular, ordered content.
Thanks for…umm, sticking with us. ;) Alex expects to set up a gallery or two of photos in the next few days–really! :)
Oh, and we’d still appreciate you registering, of course…. it helps us know who’s reading/looking, if nothing else. :)
We’ve changed the site… moved from the somewhat crappy template we were using to a Wordpress weblog setup that we hope will work out a lot better.
Please… READ THIS about site registration! It’s important!
(go ahead and click here to register)
There’s a lot of work to be done yet, and pictures, pictures, pictures…we know! The picture processing alone is a massive task. Expect to see them get added back in… some in with posts, some in their own separate gallery pages, etc.
You’ll notice that there’s a fair amount of “historical” content here… we had to update this site with things as they happened, but it was before we could really publish it, so it will seem weird to see content here that’s “old” on a “new” website.
Thanks so much for your patience with us as we get this whole thing worked out!
If you have any questions, comments, or any other feedback, please let us know. It’s also possible, despite our best efforts, that you might (though you really, really shouldn’t) run into some broken page links, images that aren’t showing up, etc… it would be great if you could let us know if you find anything like that, too.
